Lacewing. Chrysopa sp.

Adults of this predaceous insect are commonly referred to as green lacewings. Both adults and larvae are predaceous and feed chiefly on aphids. The larvae are often referred to as aphid lions. Lacewings are commonly found in grass, weeds, and on the foliage of trees and shrubs. Most adults are greenish in color and have beautiful golden-colored eyes. The eggs are unusual in that each egg is laid on the end of a tiny stalk.
