Annual Scholarship Awards

  1. Theodore R. Adkins, Jr. Endowment

    Awarded annually to an entomology graduate student working in the area of medical, veterinary, or forensic entomology.

  2. Terminix Endowed Fellowship

    Awarded annually to an entomology graduate student working in the area of urban pest management.

  3. E. W. King Endowed Memorial Grant

    Competitively awarded to an entomology graduate student to support basic entomological research.

  4. W. C. Nettles Endowed Memorial Grant

    Competitively awarded to an entomology graduate student to support applied entomological research.

  5. Joel A. Berly, Sr. Endowed Fellowship in Entomology

    A recruiting fellowship that is competitively awarded to students applying to enter the graduate program in August.

  6. Dr. and Mrs. John Thomas Creighton Endowed Memorial Fellowships

    Recruiting fellowships that are competitively awarded to students applying to enter the graduate program in either January or May.

  7. James P. "Denny" Ford Scholarship Endowment

    This award, managed by the SC Pest Control Association, is awarded annually to an entomology graduate student preferably on doing research in urban entomology.
  8. S.C. Entomological Society J.H. Cochran Memorial Scholarship

    Awarded annually to a graduate student member of the South Carolina Entomological Society who is enrolled at any graduate institution in South Carolina within the year prior to the annual meeting, or on engagement by a graduate student in independent entomological research of direct benefit to the welfare of the state of South Carolina, its citizens, industries, or environment.

Many of these fellowships and endowments can still receive donations through the Clemson University Foundation.
