Resource description:     Discusses the rapid spread of the extreme aquatic nuisance weed Salvinia. Although produced in Texas, this video discusses the presence of Salvinia in South Carolina, specifically, as well as other southeastern and northwestern states. Herbicides are indicated as a control method, but emphasis is on the use of a biological control agent, a weevil native to Brazil, and host-specific to Salvinia.
